7. Subscription and Payment

AskTheBook offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that may temporarily affect service availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

9. Disclaimers

AskTheBook is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes
  • Defects will be corrected

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content for your specific use case.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskTheBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AskTheBook, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
